Darkened Nocturn Slaughtercult

Darkened Nocturn Slaughtercult is a German black metal band from Dormagen, formed in 1997. The lead singer, Onielar, is female, which is rare in black metal. In November 2021, Onielar revealed she had been diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer, resulting in the need for her to undergo a lifesaving double mastectomy and chemotherapy. She has since made a full recovery.
