Ancestry

Ancestry is a Mexican power metal band formed in 2007 in Chihuahua, Chihuahua. The band blends elements of European power metal with symphonic and progressive influences. The band gained attention in international metal media following the release of their album Transitions and through a collaboration with Tony Kakko of Sonata Arctica. The band has also been featured in the British metal magazine Terrorizer, where their track "Reach for the Sky" appeared in the Fear Candy compilation series.
