Darvaza
Darvaza is an international black metal duo formed in 2015, consisting of Italian multi-instrumentalist Omega and Norwegian vocalist Wraath. The band is named after the Darvaza gas crater in Turkmenistan, a natural gas pit known colloquially as the "Gate to Hell" that has burned continuously since 1971. The project is associated with the Nidrosian black metal scene centred in Trondheim, Norway, where Wraath has been a key figure through his involvement in bands including Mare, Behexen, and Ritual Death.
